Friday is the first day of many for severe weather across central Iowa. The highest severe weather threat is generally north of Highway 92. Storms will begin around 5pm this afternoon in northwestern Iowa and move southeast through the state. Storms should exit the area around 4am Saturday morning. Large hail and damaging winds are the primary threats.
