| Fog MEASURED 0.25 mi Areas of dense freezing fog impacted much of the Charleston Metro area this morning. Many of the large, elevated bridges were iced over which forced their closure by SC-DOT and local officials. This included much of I-526 corridor. Many multi-car accidents also occurred. No significant injuries or deaths have been reported so far. Visibility at the Charleston International Airport dropped to 1/4 mile in dense freezing fog. |
