Strong southerly winds and very low humidity will continue to bring critical fire weather conditions to portions of Utah and Colorado near the State line. Otherwise afternoon shower and thunderstorm activity is expected with these high based storms bringing an additional threat of outflow winds in excess of 50 mph. Cooler weather arrives for Saturday.
