There is an elevated risk of wildfires in Northeastern Nevada each afternoon and evening Tuesday and Wednesday due to west to northwest wind gusts near 30 mph and minimum relative humidity values as low as eight percent. This combination can contribute to extreme fire behavior. Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
